Unlike ear muffs and solid ear plugs, the Sonic Valve II hearing protectors allow you to hear total sounds and conversations. They are designed with a series of noise restrictors and moving diaphragms which makes it particularly efficient in reducing the amplitude and energy content of impulse noises reaching the ear drum. These devices are designed to allow the ear canals to be open for air circulation until sufficient noise levels activate the patented valve system to close down and protect the inner ear from incurring hearing damage.
